Each and every set is in the original US Mint packaging as issued with Certificates of Authenticity with issued sets (the mint only started putting COA’s in proof sets in 1986).. Unless otherwise noted – each set is a 5 coin set containing the PROOF Half, quarter, dime, nickel and cent (from 1973 – 1981, dollar coins were also included). In addition to the cent thru half – – The 1999 – 2008 sets contain all 5 PROOF state quarters for the respective years – – the 2000 thru 2008 sets contain the Sacagawea golden dollar – – -also inclusive are the 2007 & 2008 & 2009 NEW 4pc PRESEDENTIAL PROOF Sets! 1959 – 1963 SILVER – – these 5 sets come in the ORIGINAL (not aftermarket envelopes like many sellers use) brown envelopes. Inside each envelope each set contains a 90% SILVER dime , quarter and FRANKLIN Half – along with the nickel & cent – ALL PROOF. 1964 SILVER – – a one year issue set in the original brown envelope.. Contains the 1st year of the Kennedy half and the only year the Kenndy half was produced in 90% SILVER – – also contains a 90% SILVER dime and quarter – along with the nickel & cent – ALL PROOF. Last year for 90% silver coins. The halves are 40% Silver. 1968 – 1970 proof sets in the original blue boxes – The halves are 40% Silver. The remaining sets are of CLAD composition except the 1976 3pc Silver set. 1971 + 1972 proof sets in the original blue boxes. 1973 – 1978 proof sets in the original black boxes – in addition to the proof half, quarter, dime, nickel and cent – each and every one of these 8 sets also contain the popular PROOF EISENHOWER Silver Dollar.
