The holder has some light outer wear, but the coins themselves are perfectly preserved, with strong mirrors, frosted devices, and exceptional overall eye appeal. Designed by Thomas D. The obverse features an American soldier landing on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, June 6, 1944-one of the most iconic scenes of the war. This is the proof issue from the West Point Mint, known for its deep cameo contrast and premium strike quality.
