This box was SEALED BY THE US MINT 49 years ago. On September 16, 2019, COIN WEEK published an article titled “1975 No-S Roosevelt Dime a Modern RarityWorth Big Bucks” by Joshua McMorrow-Hernandez. She discovered two of the sets lacked an “S” mint mark on the Roosevelt Dime. This was an extremely rare and unusual find. How many more of these dimes are yet to be discovered? This is why US MINT SEALED BOXES of 1975 PROOF SETS are so difficult to locate in today’s market. Serious collectors have been searching for decades for additional “No S Roosevelt PROOF Dimes” that MAY have been struck inadvertently by the US MINT. I HAVE NO CLUE!!! Don’t plan on slicing open or tampering with the ORIGINAL US MINT SEALED BOX from 49 years ago. These 1975-S US MINT SEALED BOXES are extremely difficult to locate and the difficulty level increases with each passing year.
