Here we offer a run/set of United States Proof Sets dated 1960 through 1969. You get 10 proof sets and a total of 50 coins. Complete with original US Mint envelopes or boxes. Each set includes the following 5 coins for each year. Note additional info for these sets. The 1960 through 1965 coin sets were made in Philadelphia Mint. There is no Mint mark. 1960 through 1963 sets have 90% silver Franklin Half, Roosevelt dime and Washington Quarter. 1964 set has 90% silver Kennedy Half, Roosevelt dime and Washington Quarter. The 1965, 1966 and 1967 sets are actually Special Mint Sets (SMS) no proof or uncirculated sets were made in these years. The Kennedy half dollar in these sets contains 40% silver, the other 4 coins are either copper or copper nickel content. The 1968 and 1969 proof sets have the “S” mint mark and were made in San Francisco Mint. The 1960 small date proof set is NOT included with this grouping. The US Mint did not offer COA’s in their proof sets until 1986. There are no COAs issued with these proof set years. The 1966 through 1969 have boxes as seen in our photos. Condition: expect possible minor wear or soiling to the boxes and envelopes of these 50 year old coin sets.
