The image is reflected in the visor of Buzz Aldrin’s space helmet, the curvature of which is recreated in the curvature of the coin. “ONE DOLLAR” is inscribed within the visor, while “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM” (From many, one) are inscribed above and below it.
