2013 S, W U. Mint 90% Silver Limited Edition Proof Set Original Mint Packaging. If the listing does not say “or best offer”, then don’t. I have added pictures of different sets to show the type of toning and lens rub you may encounter. Due to the large area of the lens holding the coins, the top sometimes comes in contact with the coins. It does not hurt the coins but can be seen as a slight rub on the lens. This is a bad design on the part of the Mint. Some of the coins show light to moderate toning due to the lens not being sealed from the Mint. For people not familiar with toning, it usually starts at the edge and progresses inward to the center. The Dime, Half Dollar and all 5 Quarters are 90% Silver. The American Eagle coin is 99.9% Silver. This Proof set has the S (San Francisco) mint mark on all the coins EXCEPT the American Eagle which has the W (West Point) Mint Mark. The five National Monument quarters of 2013 are; White Mountain National Forest, Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial, Great Basin National Park, Fort McHenry National Monument and Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The box has never been opened and all original seals are intact. The box is in fantastic shape, especially considering it was packed and sealed 55 years ago! This is truly an amazing find. A sealed case of 50 Pristine 1962 Proof Sets that haven’t seen the light of day since being packed by U. Mint employees in 1962. When you hold this box you will feel like you stepped back in time.
