Issued by the government of Tanzanian and struck by the British Royal Mint. Each coin honors a different animal from the region and comes with an individual COA that tells about that animal. Each of the ten coins is 5 oz. 999 Sterling Silver for a total of 49.897 troy ounces of silver. Along with the coins and COAs is an informational booklet on the Serengeti wildlife and region. This is an amazing find, an all original, fully sealed 50 count box. All the seals are fully intact and firmly in place, no fading, discoloration or water stains, no mildew or odors commonly found with some older boxes due to improper storage. So Called Sealed Sets are likely to have been searched. The US Mint did not seal the individual Proof Set envelopes. The US Mint didnt bother sealing each individual envelope. They either did this to save time or so people could view the set without ruining the envelope. About 1962 Proof Sets. The maximum order for 1962 Proof Sets was limited to 100 sets. Each set contained five coins: One example each of the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Washington Quarter, and Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar. About the sets: 1962 Proof Coins are found with Brilliant, Cameo and Deep Cameo surfaces. Deep Cameo Proofs are the most desirable Proofs. Since they are very scarce, these coins are highly sought out by collectors. Mintage: 3,218,019. Original packaging: Each coin was sealed in its own compartment between two sheets of flat pliofilm. An octagonal, foil seal imprinted with “US MINT PHILADELPHIA” was placed in a sixth compartment, and the flat pack was then inserted into a mailing envelope with a card. 1995-W American Eagles 10th Anniversary Gold & Silver Proof Set 5-coin set includes original US Mint packaging with Certificate of Authenticity Both Gold and Silver Eagle Proofs in one official US Mint set! Just 30,125 Issued! This beautiful set contains all four 1995 Gold Eagle Proof coins — 1/10, 1/4, 1/2 and 1 ounce, as well as the rare 1995-W Silver Eagle Proof. The 1995-W Silver Eagle Proof is the “Key Date” coin of the series. The US Mint did produce and sell a separate 1995 Silver Eagle Proof, but that coin carried the P mint mark. The regular issue Proof coin had a mintage of 407,822, which was typical for these coins at the time. Thus, Proof issues for 1995 carrying the P mint mark are more common, while the coins bearing the W mint mark are scarce and much more valuable. The coin has a mintage of only 30,125 pieces, which is extraordinarily low for such a popular and widely collected modern series.
