The 2026 US Mint Silver Proof Set is a highly sought-after collection of coins minted in San Francisco. Each set includes coins made of. 999 fine silver, struck in proof quality. The coins look gold in some of my photos but that is background color reflecting off the coins. The photos of the individual coins better represents the beautiful silver color. The only coin with a gold tone is the Sacagawea Dollar. The reason I said to be careful is there have been a lot of complaints on line about some of the coins in the set (especially the softer metal penny) having scratches or spots, even some that look like rust spots! This may be what you receive from resellers of lower cost sets with just stock photos. I ordered 10 sets and had to return 6. To me this set looks beautiful and gradable, especially the very rare 2026 dual date penny. My photos are real, the coins look incredible. Billions of pennys used to be made every year. The limited mintage dual date 2026 penny is very rare and collectible in comparison!
